The Mini-FFQ includes mainly food groups and high consumption foods and it was designed to assess complete diet and for inclusion along with other questionnaires in studies with time or space limits and interested in assessing diet. In addition, its format has an advantage over other more expensive methods of assessment (long FFQ, 24-hour recall and biochemical markers). It is currently in a process of validation.
