Manoli García de la Hera
Current position: Lecturer in department of Public Health at Miguel Hernández University (UMH), CIBERESP and ISABIAL.
Education: BSc Psychology (University of Seville, 1984); MSc Public Health (UMH, 1998); PhD in Public Health (UMH, 2004).
Brief CV: I started in 1990 as a research fellow and I started working in the area of Public Health. Since 2000 I have taught Public Health to Medicinal, Occupational Therapy and postgraduate students. In 2004 I joined in the Group of Nutritional Epidemiology (EPINUT-UMH). I participated in various studies with EPINUT-UMH such as: the INMA study, the EUREYE Study and the DISA-UMH Study (Anthropometry, diet and health in University students) in which I am focusing on the evaluation of diet and other healthy lifestyles. I am responsible for the nutrition and health survey of the Students of the UMH (2017).
I have been a principal investigator (PI) in national and regional studies. I participate in international consortiums such as the Global Burden of Disease initiative for the study of obesity, hypertension, diabetes and other health problems worldwide.
I participate in Group 6 of Epidemiology and Public Health CIBER.
