Counseling services are carried out in many aspects related to the epidemiology of nutrition, such as:

  • Dietary assessment of all kind of epidemiological studies (case-control studies, nutrition surveys, cohort studies, etc.).
  • Design of epidemiological studies.
  • Creation and management databases.
  • Nutritional analysis with MACRODIETA tool.
  • Writing of nutritional reports.

In addition to the advisory counseling we also have the service of preparing various reports and questionnaires such as:

  • Food Frequency Questionnaires (FFQ) validated to assess diet.
  • Studies of FFQ validity.
  • Instructions and access to platform for efficient data collection.
  • Nutritional reports.

Due to the great experience acquired in later years in various studies we offer the training service of:

  • Surveyors and researchers for field work and data analysis.

MACRODIETA is software developed by the EPINUT group for nutritional analysis. This software allows researchers to measure:

  • Food intake (portions or grams/day).
  • Nutrient intake, crude and adjusted by energy intake (Willet’s or residual method).
  • Food group intake pre-established ad hoc.
  • Food quality indexes: Healthy diet (aHEI), Mediterrean diet (AMED).
  • Personal intake reports according to recommendations.
  • Food and people groups.
  • Main foods related to a specific nutrient intake.
